Every year the HKLSS will present Rescue Star Awards to full-time lifeguards, honorary lifeguards, lifesavers or others who rescue the drowned in the previous year. As for members of affiliated clubs who assist in rescuing the drowned, they may be nominated by the club for approval of the Service Commission, and submitted to the HKLSS Executive Committee for confirmation. The Rescue Star Award will be presented in the Rescue Star Award Presentation Ceremony each year. The application form shall be completed by the end of each December and submitted to the HKLSS Service Commission for processing.
